Hank, with Keller Williams, listed our property in June, 2013. Sold September 2014 thru many difficult issues with the property’s irregular zoning and financing issues. The property was in a Family Trust. It was a unique piece of property that was deeded in the late 1930’s, located in Chesapeake Beach area of old Princess Anne County. There were no strict Code issues until the City of Virginia merged with Princess Anne. There were two living units–one was an upstairs/downstairs apartment, and the other was a single house, with 3 families living on a single lot. Hank had to do extensive research and Code “digging” to bring it into compliance with the City’s current zoning laws in order to qualify for a loan. There were several offers, but they were not willing to buy at the appraised value. We also had a lot of interest from other potential buyers, but before it could qualify for a loan it had to be in compliance. After many complications, Hank was able to pull it together and made the property qualify for a loan. He kept me informed weekly of showings and anything else I needed to know. He sold it for us at an agreeable price
